Who Are We?
- Rachel Vokes - UK Director
Rachel is a graduate in her twenties who
went to Mexico in September 2003 and worked
for 3 months on the Turtle Project on Naranjo.
She is able to give first hand experience
of Mexico, the turtle project and the locations
of all the projects we offer. Rachel is jointly
responsible for the UK end of the organisation,
including marketing, dealing with applications
and providing information.
Penny is a graduate in her twenties who has
had the opportunity to see many countries
and worked as a volunteer in Cambodia as a
teacher in the remote province of Preah Vihear.
She is able to give first hand experience
of teaching in a foreign country and living
in remote areas. Penny is jointly responsible
for the UK end of the organisation, dealing
with primarily administrative matters.
- Vicente Peña - Mexico Director
Vicente is the Experience Mexico representative in Mexico and has many years experience on the projects and receiving volunteers. He has worked on the sea turtle protection projects for over ten years, and worked with our other projects since their inception. Vicente was born in Tepic and has been a resident of Rincon de Guayabitos since 1982. Vicente is responsible for the Mexico end of the organisation, setting up and supporting the projects and personally and constantly visiting the volunteers.
